For many years UK inmates had to wear prison clothes right the way through their sentences. But in the last thirty years, things have gone down hill, it has got to the point now were inmates can wear what they like. ( To my mind that has never been right).
But all this going to chance. The Government have said that they now want all inmates to wear a full set of prison clothes for the first three years of their sentence.
I don't know when this will start as the UK Government are not known for speed when it comes to new laws. I don't understand why they are just saying three years, why not the full sentence?.
And what will the clothes look like?. I think they should be unlike any other country right now. We will just have to wait and see.
