ID Inmate Band

The ID Bands are mostly used in the county jail system. This includes a plastic band that has a photo of the inmate as well as his date of birth and the pod or cell house that he is housed in. On the movement of the inmate around the jail the guard will always be able to see and view the information that is stored on the plastic band. They do come in different colours and this is also a good way of telling were an inmate should be at any one time. They can also be used to show the custody of the inmate too.

Plastic Cuffs

Plastic Cuffs are a quick and easy way to cuff an inmate or suspect. They come in a number of colours these days. But they started with only black and white. Now they come  in a rainbow of colors  , so a cop of guard can cuff a man in a color of his choosing. Which looks cool and hip.
The only draw back of plastic cuffs is that they cut into the wrists of the suspects and inmates. So the plastic should only be used for a short time and if need be then transfer over to the steel handcuffs.

Liberty Yogurt Ad

As you can see from a play on words, In this ad the prison theme can sell anything. From the style of the guards uniforms this is set in a French prison. But from what I know about French inmates they don't wear uniforms like the inmate in this Ad is wearing, so I think this is an idealistic view of what an inmate should look like. But I think the French Government should use this classic image for all their male inmates.

UK Private Prisons

In the news last week a privately run prison was taken over by drunken inmates who overpowered guards and barricaded  themselves in  a wing using pool tables.
The violence happened in a G4S run H.M.P Category C Prison Oakwood. The drunken inmates then demanded  Big Mac's and Chicken MaCNuggets but it is said the prison bosses refused Ha Ha.

Riot officers later ended the disorder. But this is what is wrong with privately run prisons. They don't have the staff training to deal with these matters, which seems to be happening on a regular basis.
Their seems to be a lot of this going on at these prisons and G4S have a lot to do with it.
They don't employ the right type of people to be guards. But the Government seem to let them carry on in there own merry way.
They all need a good wake up call.

UK Inmates Life Sentence News

In the news last week the Government have been talking about the number of years a man can be sentenced too. The European Union have said that the British Government are braking the rules over Life Sentences saying that a whole Life Sentence with out the possibility  of parole is wrong.

The European Court have said that a Life Serving Inmate should have some hope of parole or a reduction of their Sentence.
So the UK Government are looking to the USA way of Sentencing, were they can Sentence a man to hundreds  of years behind bars and just drop a few years at a parole review. This the British will hope will apices's the European Union.

New Years Message

Well it's a new year and I have got a lot of planed for 2014. I will be posting more stills from prison films doing a review of the film and posting the trailer and also the film poster. I will also review TV shows based around prisons. Also Prisons from other Country's in the world and talk about the day to day life of a male inmate. I have so much to say and I am looking forward to sharing my love of male inmates with you all.
