The Inmates that escaped from Clinton State Prison over three weeks ago, well one of the two inmates was spotted Richard Matt he had a shot gun with him, and was told to give him self up, but would not and was shot dead.Now they are still looking for the other inmate David Sweat. So the search still goes on.

Thinking About?

In my last post I talked about what inmates wear in county jail and state prisons. As I have seen at the New York State prisons and county jails they use the same colour sage green. But it looks like they use alternate clothes. This has got me thinking about what inmates wear in the other 49 states. Over the next few months I will look into this and post my findings.

New York State Prison Clothes

The clothes are a sage green shirt and pants in a two piece set or as a jump suit. In the film Blood Ties 2012. the part Matthias  Schoenarts plays he is arrested and sent to county jail wear he is dressed in a sage green jump suit with D.O.C. on the back in a white stencil. But I wonder if that is just used in the county jails or is it used in the New York state prison system as well?.
Right now Matthias Schoenarts is my favorite actor.

Well a new prison brake in the USA has been going on for the last few days. Inmates David Sweet and Richard Matt have been on the run as, of now almost 14 days. They got a sewing teacher to help them get power tools to cut themselfs out of their cells and also pipes along the way , then getting out of a manhole out side the prison walls. Why have female workers in a male prison?. This is something that will keep on happening again and again.
The prison the inmates escaped from is The Clinton Correctional Facilty in New York State.

Dale Cregan is one of the inmates that will die in prison. For killing two police officers. Here he is handing himself into the police station after the killings.

(Life Sentence) , How Long?

A Life sentence should be what it say's on the tin. But in many county's this can mean as little as 10 years up to a full life sentence. In the last few months their have been a number of cases in the press in the UK that have given men a life sentence, but will he seve this time?. He could be up for parole after 10 years if he is a good boy, now how can this be right?. In the USA a life sentence does mean that, they have a life sentence with no posibility of parole. In the UK their are about 30 lifers. These men will never get out of prison. But I think these are men that have done such bad crimes that the public would never stand for these men to be released. I think this question will keep ranging for a long time.
