Archive Update

In my last post I used blue mug shots from a  Florida County Jail . These were old mug shots, as of 10 years  or more. Well this got me thinking. I have over 10 thousand images to choose from. So over the next few months  I will post a few photos here and their from these image archives. Over the last 10 years or so I have collected many different images from around the world showing prison life, so it will be great to dip into this vast archive once in a while.

Inmates Matt and Sweats Tattoo's

Here are photos of both escaped inmates Richard Matt and David Sweats tattoo's that were on file.

Braking News ( New York escapee inmate Sweat captured)

Well I am a little behind in this news, but it looks like inmate Sweat was on his way to Canada when he was arrested. Here are a few photos of this moment. It looks like sweat was shot. but still sits on the ground handcuffed and shackled. I would think he will be taken to the local county jail, then transfered  back to one of the New York State prisons, but not Cliton prison. Where he and Richard Matt escaped from. Matt was shot dead before he could be arrested. Sweat will spend the next few months in the prison hole for taking part in this escape. Also here are side shots from both Sweat and Matt and also early mug shots of both inmates.   

Florida Mug Shots # 2

Here are three mug shots of some cute Florida guys that are doing some jail time. But this could mean that they are in jail for months at at time, even before they get a trial date. In those months that they are housed in county jail they could go back and forth to court or by video link to the court room. This is the daily ritual of an inmate that is in county jail. How I love county jail mug shots. They are a gift that keeps on giving.
