Prison Riot 1929

The Prison Comlex at Canon City in the State of Colordo.
A Riot started on the 3rd of October 1929 and it ended on the 4th of October 1929. In that one day five inmates were dead, these are two of the inmates that took part. 
It was all part of an escape plan, that went wrong.

Police raid a stolen car ring gang, members of the gang are handcuffed, and then taken away by the police.

Alcatraz was the the end of the road for inmates that had been in trouble at other fedeal prisons.
In their cell inmates where only allowed a few things. Here is a list of what they where allowed.

One and onehalf rolls of toilet paper

A cleaning rag

A wastebasket

A shaving cup

A shaving brush and a mirror

And not one item more.
  

Alcatraz

Alcatraz was a Fedeal Prison open from 1934-63, and each day was just like the day before, only differing  on weekends here is the Daily Life of inmates through the week.

After 4.50 the inmates are locked in their cells untill the next day.
