Shane Noble Sentenced.
Shane Noble sentenced to life, but he has to serve 11 years before he can go before the parole board.
This guy would be ideal for the " Hard Labor" I want to talk about. In my next post I will go into Rock Braking. Six days a week just braking rocks day after day, I am shore Noble would not want to brake the law again.

Hard Labor
I would like to talk about inmates doing hard Labor as part of their prison sentence, Here in the UK inmates do take part in work but it's all part of trying to turn their lives around, not as I believe it should be all about punishment.
What I will do here is talk about the different punishment work inmates could do.

British Criminals
A set of British Criminals, when they they are sentenced they will be housed at a local prison for about two weeks, in that time they are given heath checks and also a mental test too, Then they wait at that prison for an opening at a prison in any part of the country . This could take months.

New Prison Laws UK
For many years UK inmates had to wear prison clothes right the way through their sentences. But in the last thirty years, things have gone down hill, it has got to the point now were inmates can wear what they like. ( To my mind that has never been right).
But all this going to chance. The Government have said that they now want all inmates to wear a full set of prison clothes for the first three years of their sentence.
I don't know when this will start as the UK Government are not known for speed when it comes to new laws. I don't understand why they are just saying three years, why not the full sentence?.
And what will the clothes look like?. I think they should be unlike any other country right now. We will just have to wait and see.

Mexico Arrest Press Photos
One time goalkeeper for Mexico Omar Ortiz is arrested as part of a group that are accused of kid*****ng and other charges, they are led out so the press can take photos. I would think these guys would have had a court appearance first?.
I would like to see other countries adopt these press photo calls, I like the idea of the suspects being put on show.

Looking at cell bars
These two black and white photos we can take a good look at the bars that make up the walk way and the cells.
Since the 1930's the bars of prison cells have been tool proof. Before this the bars were made of so called (soft steel). That a number of inmates over the years worked on, and then escaped from.
Then in places like Alcatraz in 1934 they used steel bars that had a core hard center that no tools could cut through.

Eastern State Penitentiary Escape
Eastern State Penitentiary Escape April 3rd 1945.
At the Eastern State Penitentiary in 1945 from cell 68 in cell block 7. The cell of Clarence Klinedinst, he escaped with 11 other inmates though a hole in the wall of his cell, that had a fake panel. This went down to a tunnel that came out, just outside the outside wall of the prison.
The tunnel extended 15 feet down and then 97 feet outward.
Six of the inmates were recaptured the same day.
Each day the inmates worked on the tunnel, they slwly tricked down the toilet the dirt that was cut away.
Some of the other the other inmates that esacaped that spring day were:
William Sutton.
Fredrick Tenuto.
James Van Sent.
David Aiken.
James Grace.
William Russell.
Robert MCKnight
One of the escapes James Van Sent wrote a poem about the escape, titled " The Leaky Pen"
Here are a few lines It begins.
" Twelve of the boys in Easten Pen
were serving their time that had no end
When out of nowhere there appeared a hole,
which Khney had dug just like a mole."
Does anyone know the rest of this poem?
Also I don't have the last three inmates names that took part in the escape.
Can anyone help with this so I can fill in the gapes of this .
Thank you.
