More G4S Prison News

Well the bad news for G4S Prisons keeps on coming. At the Private  Prison they told a family that an inmate at their company run prison had died, well that was found out  not to be true, They got it wrong?. But their is more bad news , Is that this has happened before with an inmate dieing at this prison. Which is called Parc Prison. Also lots of self harming is going on by the inmates their. It's not a prison that you want to be housed in at all.

The Leash In Use

The Leash.

The leash is used as an add to the guards moving around inmates. Prison to Prison or Prison to court . The idea of the leash is an added security, as well as the handcuffs.  The leash will be placed on the one wrist of the inmate and the end of the leash will be held by the guard at all times. This was used by France and is still being used by Hungary which use a number of different styles of said leash, that included a leather and metal link leash. To show how the leash is used I have posted a video of said leash being used in a Hungary court room.

UK Inmate Phone Use

When the inmate is out of his cell he can use a pay phone at any time. No money is used he has a phone card and with good behaviour and a prison job and money sent in from family he can put these points on this phone card. No cell phones are aloud. But it seems that inmates are getting cell phones into the prison.
If the inmate is found with a cell phone, he will face hole time and loss of his prison job. But this threat  does not stop the inmates smuggling phones into the prison. In the open prison their has been talk of inmates using mobile phones to call out for Pizza and other fast foods. This is not on and I think their is a lack of reporting on this, as a cover up to make the prison numbers look good.

How to arrest a bad guy

The best time to arrest a bad guy is first thing in the morning when he is still in bed. That way you have the element of surprise. Get the guy cuffed and on the floor, then their is know were for him to run.

H.M. P. Oakwood Update.

More news has come to light about the uprising that took place at the Private prison Oakwood that is run by the company G4S. A guard that was shipped in to help quash the riot has told the press that it was much more serous than G4S told the press at the time.
In a past post I talked about how bad G4S was at recruiting guards for their prisons. Well it seems G4S are still finding it hard to pick the right people for the post of guards. It's so plane to see when they can't keep control and know what to say to defuse any hot headed inmate from taking a stand.

The clue is in the training, but it looks like G4S have no understanding about how to train a guard or the right people to be a guard.I bet they get all their subjects from the long term dole cue. Which makes the G4S company look a laughing stock.
When will these fools be made to stop working in running prisons.

Prison Mug Shots

Prison Mug Shots, use of.
When an inmate enters the prison he is taken to have his photo taken. Their after each year he is in prison a new mug shot is taken. Also a new image is taken if his image is changed at all. A new photo is taken when an inmate moves to a different prison. In my private collection I have a number of these mug shots.
