Here are two Posters for a new Prison film just out yesterday in the UK.I will also post the trailer and an interview with the star of the film Jack O'Connall who plays a young offender who is sent to an Adult Prison and all the things that happen to him on a day to day running of a Prison. I will go to see this film and then post a review. If anyone goes to see this film please let me know what you think of it by posting a review on this blog.

Inmates with cell phones.

Here are two Oklahoma State inmates who have posted photos on Face book from cell phones that they have smuggled into the prison. This should not be happening. These photo's show the inmates in their cells, so how could this happen with all the tight security that they say they have in the state prison system?.
(1) The guard has got the phone to the inmate for a price or information?.

(2) A family member or friend has smuggled the phone into the visiting room?.

(3) The phone is throne over the fence of the prison for the inmate to pick up at a later date?.

(4) The inmate buys the phone on the black market in the prison?.

That is four ways I can think of, that an inmate could get hold of a phone. But I am shore their are many more ways it could happen.
The inmate is charged and given hole time and that is it, and then he goes and gets a new phone, so it's an on going Battle that goes on every day.
I think their should be daily cheques  of all pods and cells, just to keep the heat on the inmates to let them know to always watch their backs and the guards are always going to be on their tails.

The Prison/Jail Count

In every prison around the world all inmates are counted. But it all depends on what level of security the inmates are living under. I believe every inmate should be counted on the hour every hour, yes I do know that is a lot to take on and a guard has a lot to do, but that is part of the guards job.

A guard should know were an inmate in his charge is at all times even locked in his cell.
In the UK the count seems to be a half hearted way to keep an eye on each inmate. In the USA their is a much more stringent count on the hour  in the jail and prisons and their is no movement until every inmate is were he should be, this should be what happens in the UK too. But it's not always the case, and it's all ambled through each day. So many UK prisons do need to rethink on a lot of their security at all levels.

G4S Parc Prison

As this is St David's Day here in Wales I want to talk about the prison that is in south west Wales. This is the G4S prison called Parc Prison. It is not a well run prison and has been in the news over the last few years. But still G4S are in charge of it. Why is the government letting this company keep messing up with the running of this prison?.
